Doctor#3

The atmosphere here is great! Having complete clinical autonomy with no pressure to perform really makes my lifestyle very relaxing and is why I enjoy coming to work everyday. I was able to join this practice soon after residency where my fascination with learning new procedures was not only suggested but strongly encouraged by providing me all the tools I needed to succeed. The practices under this group have been able to develop reputable name that patients trust, which keeps our offices busy and very productive. One of the unique aspects of this group is the ability to become a part owner in the practice, no matter if you have just graduated school or have been in practice for years. With systems in place to ensure smoothly running offices and keeping overhead low, the production and profits of the practices are very rewarding. I would recommend anyone taking a closer look into becoming part of the team!

Having the ability to jump into a practice that is running efficiently and autonomously is an enticing opportunity for any dentist. Over my 30 plus years in dentistry I have transitioned four dental practices. With two of them I was the seller and with the other two I was the buyer. One of those four practices was sold to Dr. Ryan Londry and Dr. Mike Modlin, Jr., who are the owners and founders of Southeast Dental Partners (SDP).

While every practice transition requires dedicated effort, with two committed parties willing to work together toward a common goal, the practice sale to this forward thinking team was about as seamless as it gets. Docs Mike and Ryan “get it” that a dental practice is far more than a commodity sold to the highest bidder. For lots of us dentists with practices we have built from scratch, besides our practice representing the decades of professional effort it took to build and nurture it, there is the human side we cannot overlook, forging the question “How will my staff and patients be treated by the new caretakers?”

While SDP has a competent and stable support team at its disposal, Ryan and Mike are very hands-on, ensuring that your staff and patients will handle the transition well (like mine did), as they are treated with the utmost respect and care. SDP has grown from a concept to a reality and beyond since this particular practice sale, but the important principals put in place early on by these two dentists has not changed: The practice is part of the community, so do what it takes to keep it stable within the community. Allow the associates to become part owners of the practice and provide the staff with ongoing support and incentives. The two doctor’s concepts and ideals are more than a recipe, they are part of the fabric of who they are.

Our goal is to alleviate some of the pressure by keeping track of patient accounts and services rendered, calling on past due balances, and issuing patient refunds. We strive to ensure the office is up to date on collections so they can focus on patient care.

Ryan Londry, DDS

Ryan Londry, DDS

Ryan helped co-found Southeast Dental Partners in 2012 and currently serves as its CEO. He focuses mainly on business development and acquisition strategy and does so with a keen eye on continually providing maximum value to the partner doctors and practices. His unique understanding of the provider and business side of a dental practice allows him to grow the business with a constant focus on clinical autonomy and independent development of each partner practice. Ryan earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and graduated with Honors while earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ryan and his wife Seantel live in Charlotte, NC with their two children Ellie and Graham.
